Study At Michigan State University
With funding from MSU Creating Inclusive Excellence Grants (CIEG), Michigan Fellows Africa Initiative (MFAI) Uganda, South Africa, Kenya, Tanzania and Zimbabwe is launching an empowering three-week cohort-based virtual practicum dedicated to promoting the recruitment of African students at Michigan State University (MSU). This initiative offers a unique chance for aspiring scholars from Africa to connect, engage, and thrive in their academic pursuits through Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Focused Mentorship and Engagement.
Over the course of three weeks, participants will have the unique opportunity to engage with esteemed MSU faculty, staff, and current students. This program is meticulously designed to create an interactive and supportive online environment, where participants will glean insights and tools necessary for a successful transition to MSU and connect with peers across African and in the United States.
Through this program, we aim to support academic ambitions of African students and contribute to building a diverse and inclusive community at MSU. By participating, you take a significant step toward realizing your educational dreams, empowered by a supportive network intent on your success.
